I don't think the picturisation of this song struck me particularly as being funny when I saw the film about four decades ago, but today it definitely does. Sanjeev Kumar in a tie and jacket riding a horse on a beach! Hema Malini in a satin pant-suit (bell bottoms?) riding a camel!! If it looks kitschy today, it didn't then. Films are a good mirror of our changing tastes and the prevailing trends at a given time.
